Singing Lessons When You’re Sick??? YES!
So, how many of you out there believe that singing lessons need to be singing from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave, otherwise it’s a wasted lesson?
Well, I’m here to tell you, there is SO MUCH MORE to singing lessons than singing the entire time! This applies to lessons when you’re well, but ALSO when you’re not feeling so hot. There are so many things we can do that are support systems and education around listening that are NOT actual vocal technique and sound production, the list is LONG.
Here are some examples! [See slide show for details]

If you’re a college-level, serious, or pro-level singer, what’s your game plan? This lesson can be a planning session!
Do you know what you’re talking about? What does that text MEAN?
Ear training! Let’s tune up those ears with some valuable listening skills - intervals, identifying rhythms, and melodies!
Music theory…I know, I know. This probably feels unspeakably boring and tedious, but honestly, a little bit of theory helps the practical go down!
